A community of Warriors
The Lupus remedies global (LUREG) support foundation is a non-profit and non-political organization. With focus on health which is the third SDG goal which is focused on health, Lureg has created a community of people living with an autoimmune disease called LUPUS. We current have about 500 people in our community and have been creating a channel to give them hope again

Our aims and objectives
LUREG Support Foundation is duly registered with the cooperate affairs commission. The organizations aim and objectives are stated below.
- To be charitable foundation that provides assistance to patients across Nigeria
- To enhance mutual help among patients and strengthen their coping ability in handling problems
- To provide an opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about disease.
- To create awareness about auto immune diseases.
- To link victims to the right doctors and health institution
- To help victims access cheaper and proper health care and guide against wrong diagnosis.
- Secure support from pharmaceutical companies to get drugs cheaper.
- To ensure lupus is enlisted into health insurance schemes for accessible and affordable health care for Lupus warriors
- To help raise scholarships for medical students to become specialized as Rheumatologists
- To encourage patient on positive mental health habits and periodic interaction with mental health experts.
- Providing awareness about the causes of lupus and discover better ways to control symptoms
- To support and improve quality of life for people and their families who are affected by certain health conditions
- To raise endowment funds for lupus treatment
- To work in collaboration with private and public sectors on rehabilitation centres, emergency centres during the week days and weekends.
- Business empowerment programs and ICT skill acquisition for Lupus patients or warriors to work remotely.
- Preferential admission such as reduced cut-off etc for ease of admission into higher institutions of their choice.
- Acquisition of special permit for Lupus warriors.
- Advocacy and awareness in collaboration with the media, telecommunications industries, online handles , radio and television stations awareness, skits on YouTube and many other channels.

What is Lupus?
Lupus is a disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs (autoimmune disease).
Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems including the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.
